Introduction
Dr Chia Chung King has many years of experience as gastroenterologist, internist and educator. He worked many years in Tan Tock Seng Hospital and was previously the Associate Professor and Associated Dean for both NUS and NTU. He was also the Program Director for postgraduate residency training.
His clinical interest includes hepatitis B, hepatitis C, fatty liver, stomach cancer, digestive problems, upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy. He has trained a generation of medical students and post graduate trainees in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
He communicate well in multiple languages: Mandarin, Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese, English and Malay.
He has won the Courage Star, awarding by President Nathan, for looking after SARS patient amongst the first batch of ICU doctors in 2003. Other awards include Long Service Award, Excellent Service Award (Gold), Service Champion Award and Best Teacher Award.

Where should I begin? Dr Chia treated my father’s constipation issue after a open heart surgery. Before finding out about Dr Chia, we headed to many clinics to seek help but non of them could properly diagnose the issue.
