About Dr Chia Chung King

Dr Chia Chung King

Dr Chia Chung King is a gastroenterologist with a subspecialty in hepatology (liver disease). He is also accredited as an internal medicine specialist, and is often asked by colleagues to see patients whose symptoms do not fit a clear diagnosis.

His clinical work covers cirrhosis, liver cancer, fatty liver, hepatitis B and hepatitis C, as well as stomach and bowel conditions. He performs diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy.

In consultations, he takes a detailed history and explains findings and options in plain language, often with drawings. He also discusses the part that diet, exercise and alcohol play in digestive and liver health.
